We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will oversee installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems and machinery in our recycling operations.
This role requires expertise in recycling and production processes to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our production facilities.
Also entails facilities maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment like Forklift, vehicles, Generators, Company Transformer (for Electrical Engineer)
Ensure machinery operates efficiently, and safely, and complies with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan on vertical and horizontal baler machines
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Provide technical support to all departments for electrical apparatus and others.

Qualifications

Minimum of SSCE
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering within the recycling industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery used in recycling industry
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using maintenance management softwareandtools.Method of Application.
