Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Temporary
Job Type: 3 Months Contract

Summary

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer with expertise in Expo to help develop a campaign management application for public health initiatives. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application development for both Android and iOS and experience supporting users in the public health sector.

Key Responsibilities

You must have expertise in react native,expo and web development
Design, develop, and maintain React Native mobile applications using Expo.
Implement intuitive and user-friendly UI/UX for public health campaigns.
Integrate APIs and backend services to support real-time data collection and reporting.
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across multiple devices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile applications for seamless user experience.
Work closely with public health stakeholders to understand requirements and enhance application functionality.
Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, data analysts, and public health professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience in React Native and Expo.
Proven experience developing and deploying Android & iOS mobile applications.
Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with Firebase, GraphQL, or other backend integrations.
Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
Prior experience working in public health projects or supporting end users in health focused applications is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with offline data collection, push notifications, and geolocation services.
Familiarity with mobile analytics tools and performance monitoring.
Understanding of health data standards (FHIR, HL7) and data privacy regulations.
Experience deploying and managing apps on Google Play Store & Apple App Store.
