Summary
Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager who is passionate about building relationships, driving sales, and making a real impact in the paint industry.
If you are someone who loves connecting with people, solving problems, and achieving results, this role is for you.
You will be the face of Dr. Smart Paint, working closely with both retail customers and distributors to grow our business and ensure our customers are thrilled with our products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Build relationships and identify new opportunities to grow our customer base, by onboarding new distributors, retailers, and project contractors.
Be a problem solver by timely resolution of concerns, and be good at consultative sales, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported.
Drive sales, hit and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
This means coming up with creative strategies to grow revenue and fostering customer retention.
Analyze market trends, spot opportunities, and create plans to help Dr. Smart Paint stand out in a competitive industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders in build and real estate.
Increase market share by 30% by year end.
Maintain a 95% customer retention rate by providing excellent post-sales support.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients and distributors.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
Work closely with the marketing team to drive brand visibility and awareness campaigns.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand.
Skill Requirements
At least 3 years in sales, account management, or business development, ideally in the paint, construction, or chemical industry with experience in value-added services, and distributorship acquisition.
Strong understanding of the paint industry, market trends, and customer preferences.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to identify potential sales channels and expand market reach.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns and drive sales opportunities.
Knowledge of sales strategies and customer acquisition techniques.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and sales operations effectively.
Ability to travel as required to meet clients and distributors.
