Job Position: Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) Intern

Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Role Overview

As a front-end developer, you will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and AI/ML teams to develop and optimize the platform using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
Integrate APIs & authentication.

Key Responsibilities

Build & optimize UI components using React & Next.js
Develop responsive and accessible designs using Tailwind CSS
Implement AI-driven UI interactions
Work with RESTful & GraphQL APIs to fetch & display data dynamically
Integrate real-time updates and notifications
Collaborate with UX/UI designers for a smooth and engaging user experience
Optimize web performance for speed & scalability.

Requirements

Proven experience (1+ years) in React.js & Next.js
Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (preferred)
Experience with Tailwind CSS, Chakra UI, or Material UI
Familiarity with RESTful APIs & GraphQL
Experience with state management (Zustand, Redux, Recoil, or Context API)
Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization
Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) & static site generation (SSG)
Knowledge of authentication flows (OAuth, JWT, Firebase Auth)
Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with AI-driven applications or ChatGPT API integration
Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time updates
Prior work on resume/job application tools
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
