Position Overview
We are in need, for immediate employment, an experienced Managing Director / CEO to handle the organization’s financial strategy and help in performing effective risk management.
The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring financial sustainability, and overseeing the overall operations of the bank.
The MD will drive business growth, manage risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote financial inclusion while maintaining high standards of corporate governance.
Educational Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Professional certifications such as ACA, ACIB, or similar qualifications are an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-12 years of banking/financial services experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles.
Proven track record in microfinance banking, retail banking, or financial inclusion strategies.
Strong experience in risk management, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated leadership in business development and strategic management.
In-depth understanding of microfinance regulations and policies
Knowledge of fintech innovations, digital banking, and financial technology trends.
Proven ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
Reporting & Accountability:
Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Works closely with regulatory bodies such as the CBN.
Salary
N800,000 Monthly.
