GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja. In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere and Arena.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Branch Manager

Job Summary
The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing loan processing, and ensuring the financial soundness of the branch’s credit portfolio.
This role involves supervising subordinates, evaluating loan applications, mitigating risks, and fostering strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in microfinance lending, loan recovery, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Loan Processing:
Drive loan sales, ensuring high disbursement volumes while maintaining portfolio quality.
Evaluate and process loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
Conduct business and household visits for loan assessments.
Assess customers’ financial eligibility and repayment feasibility.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and guarantors.
Credit & Risk Management:
Ensure timely and full repayment of disbursed loans.
Track loan performance, implement proactive recovery strategies, and minimize defaults.
Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to maintain high-quality lending standards.
Conduct due diligence on loan applicants and guarantors.
Branch Operations & Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor loan officers and other branch staff.
Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide guidance on loan policies and financial literacy to customers.
Set performance targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Key Requirements
Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable Microfinance Bank.
Strong risk management skills with the ability to disburse and recover a minimum of ₦50 million monthly.
Experience inmicro and SME loan disbursement, with a track record of minimal defaults.
