Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 12 PM – 8 PM WAT
Job Description
This role is ideal for professionals with experience in construction and project management who are looking to make an impact in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Estimation: Review project plans, analyze construction drawings, and perform accurate material take-offs (MTOs).
Procurement & Coordination: Obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Project & Construction Management: Track inventory, coordinate daily site activities, and assist in scheduling.
Safety & Compliance: Assist with job site safety adherence and required inspections.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records, update cost databases, and report project progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, estimators, and project managers to streamline operations.
Requirements
Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Experience:
3 – 7 years relevant work experience
Proven background in quantity surveying, construction, and project management.
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and execution strategies.
Technical Skills:
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or equivalent construction tools.
Soft Skills:
Analytical thinking, communication, organization, and problem-solving.
