Job Position: Site Engineer
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Interpreting and understanding construction drawings and specifications.
Conducting site surveys and establishing site control points.
Setting out construction lines and levels on site
Inspect work in progress to maintain quality control standards
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and permits
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents
Supervise construction crews, assigning tasks and coordinating their activities on site
Manage site logistics, including equipment and access control
Enforce all safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing potential hazards
Maintaining detailed site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and inspection reports

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Architecture (A Master Degree will be an added advantage)
Technical knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and project management methodologies
Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
