Job Title: Medical Officer

Locations: Redeemers Health Village, Redemption Camp, Ogun

Description

We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Medical Officers to join our dynamic team and make a difference in providing top-notch healthcare services to patients.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices.
Conduct thorough medical examinations, taking detailed patient histories and performing diagnostic tests as needed.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans, enabling patient understanding and compliance.
Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up visits and adjust treatments as necessary.
Perform minor surgical procedures and emergency medical interventions when required.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in medical practice.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the health village, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.

Qualifications

Medical degree from a recognized institution
Valid medical license in Nigeria
Proven experience as a Medical Officer or similar role in a healthcare institution
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to patient care and continuous learning
