Job Title: Human Resources / Legal Services Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Human Resource Manager with a strong background in HR management & Legal Services.
This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management and compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies in alignment with the company’s strategic plan.
Lead the full employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, training and development, succession planning, and off boarding.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective employee relations management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary bench marking, performance-based incentives, and employee wellness initiatives.
Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, measure performance, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with department heads to address HR-related issues and provide strategic HR support.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess LLB and LLM Advantage.
Proven work experience in HR
Must possess CIPM, SHRI or any relevant and recognized HR professional certification.
Minimum of 5 years cognate experience as a management staff in the same role.
Proficiency with Legal Drafting & MS Suite.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing Businesses.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Competency in developing learning frameworks and PM strategies
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Knowledge of Performance Scorecard/evaluation metrics.
