We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Teacher

Location: Ogudu Ori-Oke, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

To drive and manage the affairs of the school (preschool, nursery and primary), whilst providing leadership, managerial and professional directions to management/staff in order to deliver premium-quality educational services, in accordance with the school’s vision and objectives.

Job Summary

Reviewing, developing and implementing appropriate school operating plans -including curriculum /programs, human resources, marketing/enrollment, facilities, events and financial budget.
Teaching and learning standards- continuous evaluation of teaching/learning standards in the school, with the objective of ensuring that high standard of professional teaching and learners’ performanceare established, achieved and sustained.
Human resources/Performance management – monitoring, supervising and appraising teaching staff performance, whilst ensuring provision of necessary resources required to effectively carry out their duties. Identifying staffing needs and taking appropriate recruitment actions.
Ensuring the maintenance of good order, conduct and discipline at all times in the school.
Stakeholders Management –promoting, building and maintaining good relationships with the school’s internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

A minimum of 8 years active teaching experience in nursery/primary schools, of which, 3 years (minimum) as a head teacheror a senior management/teaching position.
Applicants should have – B.Ed. or B.Sc / HND (with NCE, PGDE or TRCN).
Have a track record of past accomplishments in primary school management.
Have a good knowledge of Montessori, Early years foundation stage, child development and care.
Have an excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills, with ability to build and sustain a caring school climate and culture.
Proficient in the use of Information Technology.
