Community Health, Justice and Peace Initiative for Development (JDPH), is a faith based organization working in the Catholic province of Jos, which is comprised of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Plateau, Taraba and Yobe states of Nigeria. The programme has a mandate of capacity building to promote integral human development and providing services to the JDPCs and all people irrespective of their religion, race or gender in the states mentioned.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Programme Coordinator

Locations: Borno, Adamawa and Yobe

Job Description

The Programme Coordinator will be required from time to travel to communities in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states.
Contract Duration:   2 years

Responsibilities

 Prepare and submit detailed monthly work plan for the various units of the project. 
Coordinate the implementation of Projects in a timely manner and be responsible for its technical oversight in line with JDPH policies and practices.
Provide input for the development of technical reports and other project outputs. 
Design and develop databases to support Project implementation activities. 
Liaise and coordinate activities with the relevant sectors and departments to support the implementation of Projects. 
Prepare or assist in the preparation of grant requests and funding continuation from donors.

Project management
Project reporting
Highly skilled in project identification design and budgeting
Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
Multi-tasking
Clear and concise in spoken and written communication in English Language

Qualification

Bsc. In Economics, Business Administration. A certificate in Project management is an added advantage.
4 to 5 years working experience with a Nongovernmental organization.
