Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Furniture Factory Manager to oversee all aspects of our furniture production.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines.
This role is critical to ensuring that our furniture meets client specifications and is delivered on time.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all furniture production activities, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery.
Ensure all furniture work is executed according to client specifications, quality standards, and design blueprints.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet project timelines and delivery deadlines.
Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and output.
Manage and train production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee inventory management of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Collaborate with the design and sales teams to clarify project requirements and ensure seamless execution.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
Manage production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates and timelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Furniture Factory Manager, Officer or a lead a Lead Installerin a similar supervisory role within a furniture manufacturing company.
Hands-on experience operating and maintaining various woodworking machines.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
A passion for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Candidate must be living in Lagos or ready to relocate at his or her own cost.
