We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inspirator, MOVE

Location: Abuja

Job Summary

The post holder will have the responsibility of working with social movements organisations and support in the coordination of movement activities including trainings, direct actions and other strategic initiatives.
The post holder will have a strong understanding of movement mindset and support movement leaders/groups in documentation and ensuring quality and programmatic fidelity that aligns with ActionAid’s processes.

Person Specifications
Education / Qualifications:

First Degree in Arts / Humanities / Social Sciences or other related field is essential.

Experience:

At least two (2) years post NYSC experience is essential.
Experience in implementing trainings and facilitations technique is essential.
A good understanding of social movement context from Nigeria is essential.
Experience in working in an International Development organisation is desirable.
Experience in working with the media is desirable.

Skill / Abilities:

Good knowledge and experience with capacity building movement leaders and activists based on the GOLD content 
Networking & relationship building especially within movements and activists.
Demonstrated experience in capacity building and mentoring of young people
Strong communication and writing skills
Excellent research, analytical and negotiating skills.
Excellent strategic planning skills
Passionate about young people and movements.
