We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Management / HSE Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management:

Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) that align with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

HSE Management:

Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs that comply with relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA, environmental laws).
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
Provide HSE training to employees, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and understand safety procedures.
Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and ensure that corrective actions are taken as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of quality and HSE activities, including audits, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
Prepare reports on quality and HSE performance for management review.
Develop and maintain a system for documenting and controlling quality and HSE-related documents.

Qualifications and Skills

B.Sc in Engineering, occupational health, safety, or a related field
Professional certifications in HSE
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven professional experience.
Strong communication and leadership skills
Work experience in Healthcare is an added advantage.
