Job Position: Inventory / Storekeeper and Procurement Officer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Inventory/Storekeeping:

Maintain accurate inventory records for all restaurant supplies and ingredients.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Organize and manage storage areas for optimal space utilization and easy access.
Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of all items to maintain freshness and quality.

Procurement:

Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and quality for ingredients and supplies.
Place orders and manage the timely delivery of goods to meet the restaurant’s needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Keep accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an inventory/storekeeper and/or procurement officer, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of food safety and storage regulations is a plus.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / month.
