Senior Corporate Governance Advisor & Trainer

Responsibilities:

Advisory Services:

• Lead corporate governance advisory projects for clients, including governance framework reviews, board effectiveness assessments, and governance policy development.
• Provide expert advice on governance matters to clients, including board composition, governance structure, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Training Services:

• Develop and deliver corporate governance training programs for clients and public courses.
• Design training materials, case studies, and assessments.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars.

Business Development:

• Contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and cross-selling services.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.

Service Development:

• Contribute to the development of our governance advisory and training services.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACIS or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of governance principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Nice to Have:

• Master’s degree in Law, Business, or related field.
• Experience working with clients across various industries.
• Familiarity with industry-specific governance requirements.
• Certification in risk management or compliance.
• Training or teaching experience.

Location: Lagos Island

Remuneration: NGN 500,000 – 1.2 Million
