Job Title: Operations Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational tasks, including booking loans, issue offer letters, updating customer records, and ensuring timely repayment reminders.
This role requires an organized and proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and contribute to the smooth functioning of the bank’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Management: Process and book loans accurately; verify documents; ensure compliance with policies; maintain loan records.
Record Keeping: Update customer records; log all transactions; generate loan and operational reports.
Customer Communication: Send repayment reminders; address inquiries; follow up on repayments and resolve issues.
Operational Support: Assist with daily tasks and customer requests; support branch operations; coordinate with other departments.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to policies and regulations; prepare performance reports; participate in audits.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service; educate customers on products and processes; build positive relationships.

Qualifications

OND/B.Sc in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Basic understanding of banking and loan processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with banking software.
Knowledge of microfinance operations.
Customer service experience.
