Job Description/Requirements

 Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Provide management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality audit and assurance services, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work.
  • Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/performance objectives.
  • Manage project financials, including budgets, timely billing, collection, and variance recognition.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided.
  • Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members on the engagement team.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and internal policies.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet the firm’s/client’s expectations.
  • Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
  • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
  • Manage the delivery of tax consulting services to a wide range of clients.
  • Manage multiple relationships, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and grow team members.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow the business.
  • Prepare financial statements and related disclosures for review by senior management.
  • Analyze complex accounting issues and provide solutions to clients.
  • Identify potential areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Review clients’ internal control systems and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on current trends and regulations.
  • Monitor changes in auditing standards and regulations and update procedures accordingly.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to other team members.
  • Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/performance objectives.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Audit/Tax Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • In-depth experience in an Audit/Tax consulting environment.
  • Professional accounting and tax qualification or qualified by experience.
  • Strong grasp of business, technical issues, and industry trends.
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels, with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • High-level use of Excel and other office suites.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Flexible approach to challenges.
  • Extremely high professional standards.
