Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Undertake
visa-related casework (assess, investigate, decide), applying the relevant
legislation and policy. - Investigate
the integrity of documents and other information in connection with visa
applications. - Interview
clients and request additional information to support visa applications. - Liaise
with all relevant stakeholders in the visa processing procedure including
embassies and consulates to ensure timely processing of visa applications. - Maintain
accurate records of visa applications and client information. - Undergo
regular training and development to keep up with the changes and trends in
immigration. - Update knowledge and skills on the laws, policies, procedures, and
best practices on national and global travel and immigration, - Learn about the
social, economic, political, and cultural aspects of regions. - Assist
clients with flight bookings, hotel reservations, car rentals, and other travel
arrangements. - Confirm
bookings and notify clients of luggage limits, travel insurance policies, and
itineraries, medical and currency requirements. - Issue
airline tickets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to airline rules and
regulations. - Calculate
and explain fare details including taxes, fees, and any applicable promotions
or discounts to clients. - Verify
and process travel documents including visas and travel insurance in compliance
with relevant regulations. - Maintain
accurate records of transactions, passenger information, and ticketing-related
paperwork by company policies. - Provide
exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele, and handle complex customer
inquiries ranging from web bookings to concierge desks purchasing tickets for
their guests. - Use
promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour
pack - Collaborate
with the sales team on ticketing-related queries and to maximize revenue
opportunities. - Stay
up to date on the latest travel industry developments.
Requirements
- Degree/HND in any field
- Significant
understanding of current immigration laws and visa policies - Related
Travel and Tourism Certification. - Minimum
of 3 years visa and ticketing experience. - Knowledge
of the GDS systems: Amadeus - Good
knowledge of World Geography - Good
verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills - Using the Ticketing & Reservation system (Amadeus GDS)
- Comply with immigration laws, fares rules, and visa policies
