We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager – IT Operations

Location: Lagos

Purpose of the Job

Primary responsibility is the building and leadership of the internal system analysts/development (web and mobile development) teams while establishing a network of competent external partners.

Expected Key Results (Detailed KPIs)
Key Activities:
Leadership / Coordination:

Lead and coordinated the system analysis, development, and design teams within and outside the organization
Develop the capabilities and competence of team members

Recruitment:

Define required roles and hire internal team members to fill them
Build a network of external partners, especially outsourced application development

Programme Management:

Coordinate the development of application systems across the enterprise

Application Development Process:

Ensure operational best practices including source code management, code reviews and documentation
Institute and maintain a testing/quality assurance system

System Analysis:

Drive the system analysis function to ensure that all current and future applications integrate properly and deliver value to the organization based on business requirements
Drive the process orientation (BPM) of the organization to ensure process execution metrics are available and accurate

Reporting:

Prepare routine periodic status reports and communicate with customers, as needed
Review reports from direct reports and provide feedback
Attends staff and technical meetings for the work unit

Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

Minimum 2.1 / Upper Credit Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.

Work Experience:

Hands-on experience using Perl, Python,node.js, Golang or PHP
Hands-onexperiencewithGNU/Linux, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Apache Web Server/ngnix
Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS platforms including RADIUS, billing, and provisioning
Strong system analysis and system integration skills
Strong team leadership and coordination abilities
Strong knowledge of software development process, quality control, and impact assessment
Experience with distributed version control systems (Git)
Knowledgeofmobileapplicationdevelopment platforms, both native and hybrid
Strong experience building and sustaining an outsourced software development partner network within Nigeria and abroad.
