Job Description
The Biomedical Engineer Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of medical devices and equipment in our facility.
This role requires a strong understanding of Biomedical Engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop biomedical devices and systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct testing and validation of medical equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Maintain documentation related to design processes, testing, and compliance.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biomedical engineering.
Collaborate with clinical staff to assess equipment needs and provide technical support.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to medical devices and systems.
Participate in training and mentoring of junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience asBiomedical Engineering in a reputable hospital
Strong knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA, ISO, etc.).
Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
