Job Title: Finance and Account Officer
Location: Awoyaya / Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting line: Finance / Account Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Finance and Accounts Officer responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, providing financial reports, and analysis.
Ensuring that the company’s finances are managed effectively and supporting operational and financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions to optimize working capital.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and Finance.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel )
Basic knowledge of product costing.
Sound inventory management.
Personal Attributes:
Integrity, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Salary
N120,000 Monthly.
