Associate Director

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • The Associate Director design, implement, and oversee effective management and growth of systems, operations, and programs within the organization, overseeing finances and HR, regulatory compliance, and organisational sustainability.
  • Work closely with the Director to promote the growth and healthy development of the organisation including strategic planning, annual goal setting, and day-to-day operations.
  • Lead in building and implementing SAO’s strategic roadmaps, ensuring the improvement of quality delivery of programs.
  • Facilitate grant writing activities and see to fundraising.
  • Assist in management and oversight of budget, fundraising, and project reporting.
  • Expand our network of partners and manage stakeholder engagement
  • Manage staff officers in specific work streams
  • Coordinate hiring of staff

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of working experience as a director or any related field
  • MSc. in any relevant course. MBA is a plus
  • Must be an analytical thinker
  • Must be a problem solver
