Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve rankings on search engines.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new keyword targets.
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, images, and internal linking, to align with SEO best practices.
  • Ensure that all website content is optimized for target keywords and adheres to SEO guidelines.
  • Build and manage high-quality backlinks to enhance the website’s authority and credibility.
  • Implement strategies to improve the website’s domain authority and online presence.
  • Perform technical audits to identify and resolve issues impacting search engine performance, including site speed, mobile optimization, and crawl errors.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that technical SEO best practices are implemented.
  • Work with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that drives traffic and engages the target audience.
  • Analyze content performance and provide recommendations for content improvements.
  • Use SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other platforms to track and analyze website performance and SEO metrics.
  • Generate regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics, and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and adjust tactics to stay ahead in the search rankings.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to integrate SEO strategies into all marketing initiatives.
  • Provide SEO training and support to team members as needed.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of an HND in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in SEO or digital marketing, with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with local SEO, international SEO, or e-commerce SEO.
  • Familiarity with PPC advertising and social media marketing.
  • SEO certification (e.g., Google Analytics Certified, HubSpot SEO Certification) is a plus.
