Production Lead

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient and timely completion of production targets.
• Supervise production teams, providing guidance, support, and training to operators and staff.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and inventory teams to optimize production flow and minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and equipment performance.
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
• Communicate production goals, expectations, and updates to all the necessary teams to ensure the timely completion of targets.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the production floor
• Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, challenges, and achievements to management.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic among staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of HND in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years experience as a production lead, supervisor, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using ERP software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel to analyze data.

Remuneration: NGN180,000.00 – NGN 300,000.00
