Logistics Operations Manager

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
  • Plan and coordinate shipments, manage inventory levels, and optimize delivery routes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor the logistics team, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain logistics-related policies and procedures.
  • Use logistics software to monitor and analyze the flow of goods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management or operations.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of freight, sea, and air shipping procedures.
