Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Plan and coordinate shipments, manage inventory levels, and optimize delivery routes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and mentor the logistics team, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain logistics-related policies and procedures.
- Use logistics software to monitor and analyze the flow of goods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management or operations.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of freight, sea, and air shipping procedures.
