We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Counsel

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Conduct legal research, analyze case law and statutes, and provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution solutions when appropriate.
Support staff to ensure effective case management and client representation.
Maintain accurate and organized case files, documents, and correspondence.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 to 8 years Practice Experience.
Efficient Drafting and Advocacy Skills.
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Compliant.
Quality Research Skills, Familiarity with the Use. & Navigation of e-Library and Legal Software.
Due Diligence, Discipline, and Good Work Attitude.
Litigation Savvy and Ability to Perform tasks Under Minimal Supervision.
