Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and talented Finance Officer to join our team.
The Finance Officer will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and analyse budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial plans.
Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Transaction Processing: Oversee and process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reports.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures. Prepare for and assist with audits.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Proven experience as a Finance Officer, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with 2 – 5 years work experience.
