Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations for the sales staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable sales deals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor industry developments and adjust sales approaches to stay competitive.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
  • Monitor sales KPIs and track performance against goals.
  • Ensure a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively promote them to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with product development, customer service, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams to help improve products and services.
  • Manage the sales department budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet sales objectives.


Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in sales in the shipping and logistics industry is compulsory
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Experience closing deal
  • Client retention Skills
  • Proven track record with reaching sales target
