Job Title: Cashier
Locations: Lagos and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The cashier plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the retail pharmacy outlet.
They are responsible for handling customer payments, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Answer customer queries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.
Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and fraud.
Qualifications
HND or B.Sc.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills.
