Spa Marketing Manager

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with SMT to develop an annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Manage marketing expenses to ensure all activities and deliverables are done within budget.
  • Produce or manage the design of all marketing material, including practice websites, patient information, media advertising, directories, signage, and public relations.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of all printed materials, including production, printing, and inventory management.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of materials for monthly specials and special events – emails, PowerPoint presentations, posters, flyers, internet banners, radio spots, and newspaper print and online ads.
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and key metrics for measuring success
  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to SMT.
  • Communicate marketing activities with providers and managers as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a promotion and observance schedule with specs and deadlines.
  • Write or direct copywriting of press releases, ensure that news and events are accurately published
  • Work with department/program managers to develop, produce, and execute internal promotions.
  • Oversee all email marketing communication and strategy.
  • Manage all website copywriting, proofing, updates, optimization and online reputation management.
  • Develop and maintain online SEO and aid/coordinate website SEO with web designer.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities, including developing relevant content topics to reach the company’s target audience. Monitor and respond to posts on practice pages.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external marketing related subject matter including media, sponsorships, and vendors.
  • Negotiate and oversee media buying and marketing purchase activities.
  • Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows.
  • Manages work activities and assignments of the Marketing Assistant and provides performance feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Provide direction and final approval for all assets created by creative contractors.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years experience in marketing, media buying, and public relations or related field
  • Experience with traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media.
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Design software skills such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, design theory, SEO, PPC, and email software
  • Experience in Spa preferred

  • Must have the ability to communicate with clarity, verbally and in writing; read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, regulations, policies, and procedure manuals; and create professional business documents.
