Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage staff rotas that align with business objectives.
- Assign staff to appropriate shifts based on qualifications and preferences.
- Optimize rotas to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage employee time off requests and coordinate coverage.
- Facilitate shift swapping between employees.
- Communicate and coordinate with department heads and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s (BSc.) or higher national diploma (HND) in any relevant field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling software or tools (like Primavera and others).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulations in the UK is a plus.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with the company’s operations, products, and services is beneficial.
