Job Title: Printing / Packaging Operator
Locations: Onitsha, Anambra and Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
Set up and operate various printing and packaging machines according to production requirements.
Monitor printing processes to ensure quality and accuracy of printed materials.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished products for quality control and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize production workflows.
Maintain inventory of supplies and materials required for printing and packaging tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in printing or related field preferred.
Proven experience in printing and packaging operations, ideally within the publishing industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Familiarity with various printing technologies and techniques, such as offset, digital, and flexographic printing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
