Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Creative Story Writer & Video Content Creator who can bring fresh and imaginative ideas to life, both through compelling narratives and visually impactful videos.
We aim to captivate audiences through powerful storytelling and dynamic visuals.
We will provide training and support for video production processes—However, it is necessary that applicant has a basic understanding and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Develop original, captivating storylines that resonate with diverse audience.
Write scripts for short films, animated videos, or engaging narratives similar in style and substance.
Handle end-to-end video production, from scripting to final editing, ensuring high-quality content delivery.
Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to create visually striking content that supports the story.
Integrate voiceover, sound effects, and music into the video to enhance storytelling.
Work with illustrators, or animators to create visually appealing content.
Ensure content aligns with brand tone and audience preferences.
Requirements
Proven experience in creative writing, particularly in storytelling, scriptwriting, or narratives
Experience in animation, motion graphics, or creating narrative-driven visual content.
Strong video production skills, including filming, editing, and sound design.
Proficiency with video editing software like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or equivalent… Inshot, CapCut, Canva
Strong communication skills and the ability to pitch creative ideas.
A creative portfolio showcasing previous work, including written stories and video content.
Ability to adapt storytelling styles across different genres (e.g.,African drama, inspirational, informational).
Ability to craft engaging and emotionally resonant stories that appeal to a broad audience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
