Job Summary / Role description
To execute the Electrical Maintenance activities of the Plant, Utilities and Offsite Installations
Duties and responsibilities
To receive the work orders relative to the electrical maintenance, to organize for the pertinent teams, material and tools to carry out the job, strictly under PTW procedure.
To check periodically all the electrical installation including their operating parameters
To ensure that Maintenance resources, subcontractors and vendors are available and fit to the task.
To ensure that spares are ready at hand and staff has been briefed on the task expected.
Raise a risk assessment case when further Safety investigations are advisable.
To strictly follow the OES (original equipment supplier/manufacturer) instructions on maintenance and servicing of the items. To ensure the presence of the vendor when required.
To ensure that the equipment to be maintained has been mechanically, electrically and process isolated, instructing the teams to post the pertinent warnings on the equipment.
To ensure the HSE presence as applicable from the PTW.
To ensure that the working team issues an exhaustive report about the job carried out for CMMS purposes.
To ensure to respect the timing provided for the job, reporting eventual delays and deviations.
To monitor the frequency of failures on similar electrical equipment, generators and motors reporting eventual discrepancies.
To regularly attend the morning meetings as required.
To Actively follow the Electrical W/S to be adequately equipped and resource like fit to the purpose.
To Maintain the testing and calibrating equipment in good working order.
To check that all electrical measurement equipment is fit to the purpose and ready for use.
To check that all cathodic protection measurement equipment are reliable and in good working condition. Cooperate with the cathodic protection specialist.
To check the UPS systems for compliance with the operating requirements .
To make sure that all electrical crews have received the right HSE training.
To make sure that all electric Supervisors and specialist have valid licenses to carry out their job.
To actively interface with Management/Company, Local Authorities and users for Power availability and distribution issues
Qualification and Experience
Candidates should possess a University Degree
Experiences in Refinery operation
Plant for the gas treatment
Special Requirements and Comments:
Attention to detail, management skills.
