We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nurse Matron

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:

Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct performance appraisals and facilitate professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

Clinical Practice:

Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical guidelines.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, ensuring individualized treatment plans.
Provide expert clinical advice and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Quality Improvement:

Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service delivery.
Participate in clinical audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to enhance patient safety.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.

Communication and Collaboration:

Foster effective communication among nursing staff, patients, and families to promote a supportive care environment.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Act as a liaison between nursing staff and senior management to address concerns and provide feedback.

Education and Training:

Identify training needs and facilitate educational programs for nursing staff.
Stay updated with current nursing practices and trends, disseminating knowledge to the nursing team.

Resource Management:

Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient practices.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care needs.

Salary
N60,000 Monthly.
