Front Desk Officer

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
  • Manage the appointment calendar and schedule meetings for staff members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and office supply management.
  • Provide information about the company and services to clients and visitors.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers, telephones).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
