Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing: Process incoming and outgoing payments efficiently and accurately using both traditional banking systems and fintech solutions.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Monitor transaction statuses, verify transaction details, and ensure transactions are processed promptly and securely.
  • Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Support: Provide timely and effective customer support related to payments, addressing inquiries, resolving payment-related issues, and guiding customers through payment processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to financial transactions, data privacy, and security protocols.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of transactions, and prepare reports on payment activities, transaction volumes, and any discrepancies encountered.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments such as finance, customer service, and compliance to ensure smooth operations and resolve any cross-functional issues related to payments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field is typically required.
  • Previous experience in payment processing, financial operations, or a similar role within a fintech company is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with financial technologies, payment systems, and regulatory frameworks governing financial transactions is advantageous.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial transactions, payment processing, and financial systems within the fintech sector.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately process payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain meticulous records.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing transaction data, identifying trends or discrepancies, and implementing solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Problem-solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving payment-related issues efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to technological advancements, regulatory changes, and evolving company procedures within the fintech industry.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Must be ready to resume immediately

Candidate must reside around Yaba/Surulere/Ojuelegba/Gbagada Environs and be ready to resume immediately.
