Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and creative Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.
As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, presentation, and service.
You will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen operations, and supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
Develop new recipes and contribute to menu planning
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with the restaurant’s standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen procedures
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Creativity in menu development and food presentation
Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is a plus
