Job Title: Salon / Business Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)
Job Summary
We are seeking a young, vibrant and efficient professional to lead the team, manage customers and oversee daily business operations.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency
Communicate with followers & customers with etiquette and excellent customer service
Strategic commenting, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Optimum use of WhatsApp Business tools e.g. (catalogue, labels, replies, etc.)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Book and set up appointments and meetings on booking websites
Attend to in-store customers courteously to understand their preference and assign them to the appropriate stylist
Handle service bookings appoints, enquiries, etc, over the phone
Drive sales and convert paying customers – monitor sales progress, close sales, upsell and cross-sell
Delegate tasks to staff, monitor and measure their performance to ensure productivity
Maintain active listening and effective communication with staff to ensure effective teamwork and positive work culture
Monitor stylists to ensure timely service delivery and efficient use of the products allotted
Resolve work-related conflict/grievance issues among staff members
Manage inventory, stock and cash flow including salaries and invoices
Ensure that customers are satisfied with the service they receive
Develop periodic business and operational reports on sales, staff performance, inventory, etc.
Develop and execute marketing strategies and activities like content creation, offline marketing, etc.
Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Confirm payments, and document orders (using order template) on all platforms (WhatsApp & Instagram)
Save all customers’ phone numbers with their first name and location on WhatsApp.
Follow up on customers through text (Instagram & WhatsApp) after 7-14 days of receiving their products to confirm they are satisfied with the products or services received.
Direct any complaints you cannot handle to the CEO
Assist with general office tasks when needed and other tasks assigned by the CEO
Coordinate content creation and other marketing strategies
Report daily to the CEO and give bi-weekly report on company progress, sales, complaints and stock availability
Job Requirements
Proficiency with office tools – Microsoft Office/Google Suite
Record-keeping
Must reside on the island
Great communication skills.
Data entry and record-keeping
Customer service.
Multitasking and goal-oriented.
Basic content creation knowledge.
Self-driven and problem-solver.
Team coordination
Basic content creation knowledge
Previous experience managing a hair/beauty business
Work Structure:
Onsite.
Monday-Saturday, (9am – 7pm).
Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 monthly.
