Project Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial management and accounting for multiple
  projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting
  standards.
• Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring expenditures are in
  line with forecasts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and
  financial reports for each project.
• Conduct financial analysis and cost control assessments to ensure
  profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to provide financial
  insights and ensure accurate financial planning.
• Manage cash flow forecasts and ensure sufficient funding is
  available for project needs.
• Reconcile project accounts and ensure timely invoicing and
  payments.
• Perform on-site financial monitoring, including expense tracking,
  audits, and adherence to budget limits.
• Provide accurate and timely financial updates and reports to senior
  management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company
  policies, including audit and tax obligations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAN) is highly
  desirable.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project accounting, finance
  management, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in financial management software and accounting
  systems.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a strong attention
  to detail.
• Experience in managing on-site project finances and budgets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
  collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, financial reporting, and
  project cost analysis.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, tax laws, and audit
  processes.
