Manager, Production Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Production Manager to ensure maximum production.
• Supervise and guide the workforce, inspectors, technicians, and other staff on the correct processes and standards in the performance of their duties.
• Devise procedures and processes to inspect and prevent production loses
• Enforce compliance with Biosecurity measures on the farm
• Assure the reliability and consistency of product quality by checking processes and final output.
• Intervene and ensure corrective actions are taken to address wrong practices.
• Investigate quality assurance incidents and prescribe recommendations to prevent similar occurrences.
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Review current Standard Production operating Procedure (SPOP)
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
• Coach and train staff on quality measures and practices
• Act as the production manager in his absence
• Report to the Managing Director

Requirements:

• HND in Animal Science Production Technology
• 3 years experience

KPIs:

• Daily Production %
• Frequency of Customer Complaints
• Frequency and Severity of defects
• Improvement contributions.
• Mortality rate.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 -150,000
