Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom

Key Responsibilities
Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify potential problems or maintenance needs.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as plumbing leaks, electrical issues, or HVAC failures.
Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, or painting.
Property Upkeep: Maintain the overall appearance of the property by cleaning, landscaping, and addressing minor issues.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that the property complies with safety regulations and standards.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks or repairs.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and expenses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor’s Degrees with 2+ years relevant work experience.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of basic maintenance techniques, such aselectrical, and carpentry.
Problem-solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to inspections, repairs, and record keeping.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects or working in confined spaces.
Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with building occupants.
