Brand Marketing Manager

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Awareness & Behavioral Change:

  • Develop and deliver compelling campaigns and activities across online/digital, offline/ATL channels to generate commercial awareness that turns into active consideration and meets business targets
  • Deploy strategies and tactical plans for marketing based on customer needs synchronized with the Marketing Strategic Objectives


Brand Perception & Market Insight:

  • Responsible for implementing promotional activities to penetrate each targeted or operating market
  • Provide customer and market insights to guide sales efforts to achieve sales and profitability objectives
  • Report progress on activities and outcomes to HOM
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date market intelligence on available/potential opportunities, competition, and threats within assigned territory and report same promptly.
  • Identify new business and channel opportunities as well as customer needs across markets to ensure growth

Impact & Brand Measurement:

  • Measure and report the performance of all assigned marketing campaigns, and assess ROI


Media Relations & Management:

  • Work in close collaboration with other departments to exploit earned and owned media to deliver business targets
  • Responsible for NPI and product positioning across key commercial areas within the business
  • Building, managing, and leveraging relationships with media partners, OEM’s and vendors
  • All other tasks assigned


Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing or any related field. Advanced degree in Marketing is an advantage


Professional Qualification:

  • Chartered Institute of Marketing, Nigeria (CIMN)
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK
  • Any other relevant qualification


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a B2B or product marketing environment
  • Experience in a top Advertising Agency
  • Managing end-to-end marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, TTL)

  • Marketing Communications

  • Market Planning and Digital Marketing Skills

  • Strong product marketing experience and exposure
