Air Ticketing and Reservation Officer

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Passengers: Help with
    reservations, ticketing, and flight schedule inquiries.
  • Check-In Procedures: Issue
    boarding passes and handle baggage processing.
  • Customer Service: Provide
    exceptional service, address concerns, and assist passengers with special
    needs.
  • Flight Information: Inform
    passengers of flight delays, cancellations, and gate changes.
  • Transaction
    Handling:
     Process cash and credit transactions for ticket purchases
    and airline fees.
  • Regulation
    Compliance:
     Adhere to all airline and airport regulations and
    guidelines for safety and security.
  • Making reservations: Booking
    airline tickets, and other travel arrangements for customers
  • Handling inquiries: Addressing
    customer inquiries about airline regulations, travel policies, and
    resolving any issues or problems that may arise.
  • Managing bookings: Ensuring
    accurate and timely booking of flights, hotels, and other travel services.
  • Coordinating with airlines and
    other travel providers:
    Collaborating with airlines, hotels, and other
    travel providers to secure the best travel options for customers.
  • Providing travel information:
    Offering information on flight schedules, travel itineraries, and visa
    requirements, and other relevant travel details
  • Handling cancellations and
    refunds:
    Assisting customers with cancellations, changes, and refunds
    requests, following the appropriate procedures.
  • Providing customer service:
    Assisting customers with their travel plans, answering their questions,
    and providing travel suggestions.
  • Processing payments: Collecting
    payments from customers and issuing tickets and receipts.
  • Maintaining records: Keeping
    accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer information.
  • Resolving customer complaints:
    Addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely
    manner.

Requirements:

  • HND in any field
  • 3 years of experience as an Air ticketing and reservation officer
  • Must have good knowledge on Amadeus and Galileo software
