Guest House Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities:

• Take orders and serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and building strong relationships
• Maintain knowledge of menu, drinks, and specials to make recommendations and answer questions
• Manage tables, handle payments, and operate point-of-sale system
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required

Requirements: 

• Previous waiting experience in a hospitality environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
• Basic math skills and accuracy with orders and payments
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
