Responsibilities
- General supervision, investigation and administration of security in the University
- Training of security staff.
- Any other duty as may be assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor from time to time.
Qualifications / Experience
Applicants must possess the followings:
- A good honours Degree in Criminology / Social Sciences from a recognized University.
- A retired Police officer or retired State Security Service (SSS) officer with Police background.
- Candidates must have completed the National Youth Service programme or have evidence of exemption/exclusion from the National Service.
Tenure and Conditions of Service
- The successful candidate shall hold office for a single term of five (5) years only on such terms and conditions applicable to Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined by the University Governing Council.
