Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy
    Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales
    strategies that align with the restaurant lounge’s objectives.
  • Analyze
    market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and
    create actionable plans.
  • Team
    Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing and sales teams,
    setting clear goals and providing ongoing support.
  • Foster
    a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
  • Brand
    Management: Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging
    across all marketing channels.
  • Develop
    and manage promotional campaigns, including digital marketing, social
    media, and traditional advertising.
  • Sales
    Management:Drive the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets by
    identifying new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with
    existing clients.
  • Develop
    and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through proactive outreach and
    networking.
  • Customer
    Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key
    customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement
    customer loyalty programs and manage feedback to improve service
    offerings.
  • Budget
    Management: Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget,
    ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track
    ROI on marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Reporting
    and Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of
    marketing and sales activities, providing insights and recommendations for
    improvement.
  • Use
    data-driven approaches to optimize marketing strategies and increase sales
    conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work
    closely with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure
    alignment on business objectives and customer service standards.
  • Coordinate
    with event planners and the culinary team to create promotional events
    that drive traffic and sales.
  • Market
    Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry
    trends, customer preferences, and new technologies that can enhance
    marketing and sales efforts.
  • Analyze
    customer demographics and behaviors to tailor marketing strategies
    effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing and sales leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, sales strategies, and brand management.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software, and data analysis.
  • Experience in the Lagos market or similar metropolitan areas.
  • Understanding of the waterside hospitality business model.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
