Driver

Responsibilities:

• Transportation: Safely transport goods or passengers to their destinations according to the assigned schedule.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil, water, and tires.
• Route Planning: Plan routes in advance to ensure timely delivery or arrival, considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, and ensure that the vehicle’s documentation is always up to date.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of travel logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents.
• Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service when interacting with passengers or clients.
• Safety: Ensure the safety of passengers and goods by following proper safety procedures and securing cargo as necessary.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues, delays, or changes in plans.
• Emergency Handling: Respond appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations on the road.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
